SOUTH OC CARS & COFFEE

South OC Cars and Coffee is the world’s largest weekly car show, attracting a mix of 1500-3500 plus hypercars, supercars, exotics, vintage, classic, muscle and sports cars, hot rods, rat rods, pickups, 4×4’s and motorcycles.

SAN CLEMENTE OCEAN FESTIVAL

This annual festival, which has its roots in the lifeguard community, features dory boat races, a kids’ surfing contest, a “dolphin dash,” a fishing derby, a youth pavilion, and more. A free beach concert and sand-sculpting contest are offered as well. Kids also enjoy the woody car exhibits, and Ocean Art.

VILLAGE ART FAIRE

The Village Art Faire is a decades-old San Clemente tradition, born from a desire to put gifted artists and craftspeople in touch with their local community.

Location:: The San Clemente Art Faire sets up on the lawn areas surrounding the San Clemente Library and Community Center at 242 Avenida Del Mar, San Clemente, CA.

When: On the first Saturday of every month from 9am to 3pm.


WSL SURF CHAMPIONSHIP

The Rip Curl WSL Finals is the ultimate day in competitive surfing. With the world title decided in a one-day, winner-take-all event, the stakes couldn’t be higher. After chasing waves and points all year long on the 2022 Championship Tour, it comes down to this, the top five men and women in the world battling it out for surfing’s ultimate prize: the world title. The final stop and crowning event of the Men’s and Women’s champion surf tour is held at Lower Trestles in San Clemente, California. Lower Trestles, a famous San Clemente wave, is considered to be one of the highest performance waves in North America.

When: Annually in the first week of September


SURFING CULTURAL AND HERITAGE CENTER

The Surfing Heritage and Culture Center (SHACC) exists at the intersection of surfing’s past, present and future. SHACC explores, enlightens and celebrates. SHACC houses the world’s most important and authoritative archive of surfing artifacts, surfboards, memorabilia, photography, video, periodical and scholarly works. SHACC’s collection comes from all corners of the globe, and reflects the spirit of exploration and adventure that is core to surfing’s ethos. The educational programs and events focus on bringing surfing’s rich history and stories to the world.
